Wild Life was inspired by William Morris’s call for humans to live as “good animals,” the work highlights how modern existence often reduces life to repetitive, anxious toil, stripping away joy and sensory experience. The animal heads symbolize the instinctual vitality beneath the surface, contrasting with the mechanical and impersonal aspects of daily urban life.
