Biography
Amanda Palmer is a UK-based artist specialising in drawing. She works primarily in pencil, coloured pencil, pastel, PanPastel and charcoal, often combining these media to create layered works.
She studied Fine Art at De Montfort University, graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) in 2001. Her focus returned strongly to drawing during her PGCE placement at the London College of Fashion (2006), where she taught life drawing. She later completed The Drawing Year at the Royal Drawing School (2007–2008), where drawing became central to her practice.
Palmer has exhibited regularly in open exhibitions across the UK, including at the Mall Galleries, London.
