Elephant of the Clouds was created from a found image of an elephant in a concrete enclosure. In the drawing, I reimagined the elephant in a natural setting, alongside flying, native birds, further emphasising freedom.
The title refers to Airavata, the divine elephant god in Hinduism, symbolizing power, peace, wisdom, and prosperity. Elephants are sacred in both Hindu and Buddhist traditions, representing resilience and spiritual transformation beyond confinement.
