Inspired by the Irish legend of the Children of Lir, this work explores themes of transformation, loss, and the shifting perceptions within relationships. The tale’s metaphor of children turned into swans reflects how we can be changed or seen differently by those closest to us, capturing the tension between identity, emotional exile, and longing. The drawing considers how transformation—both visible and internal—shapes our experience of connection, memory, and resilience.
